Evening departure from Delhi by Volvo / Luxury Coach. Overnight journey through the scenic Himalayan highway.
Morning arrival in Shimla, freshen up & begin the adventure. Drive through Kufri, Narkanda, and the beautiful Baspa Valley. Reach Chitkul – the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in Chitkul / Sangla.
Drive along the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers via Karcham and Pooh. Visit Nako Lake (if weather permits) en route. Arrive in Tabo – known for its 1000-year-old monastery. Overnight stay in Tabo.
En route visit Dhankar Monastery (one of the oldest in Spiti). Enjoy the view of confluence of Spiti and Pin Rivers. Evening arrival in Kaza – the heart of Spiti Valley. Overnight stay at hotel / homestay in Kaza.
After breakfast, start early for Pin Valley National Park (subject to snow clearance). Explore Mudh Village – the last village in Pin Valley (if open). In case Pin Valley road is closed, explore the Losar side, capturing majestic snow peaks and frozen waterfalls. Return to Kaza by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Explore the famous high-altitude circuit of Spiti: Komic: World’s highest village connected by motorable road. Hikkim: World’s highest post office – send yourself a postcard! Langza: The fossil village with Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Drive back along the Spiti River, crossing Tabo and Pooh. Reach Kalpa by evening – enjoy sunset views over Mt. Kinner Kailash. Dinner and overnight stay in Kalpa.
Early morning departure for Shimla. Evening drop at Shimla Volvo Bus Stand. Board Volvo for overnight return to Delhi.

From Shimla or Chandigarh, you can continue your journey by road to Spiti Valley.
By Road (Recommended):
The best and only operational winter route to Spiti is via Shimla – Narkanda – Sangla – Kinnaur – Spiti Valley.
The Manali route is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall at Kunzum Pass.
The entire journey from Shimla to Spiti is best undertaken with a 4x4 vehicle, especially during winter, to handle rugged and snowy roads safely.
