How To Reach

By Air:

The nearest airports are Shimla Airport, Chandigarh International Airport, and Delhi Airport.

From any of these airports, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Shimla, which serves as the main gateway for the expedition.

By Train:

The closest railway stations are Shimla Railway Station and Chandigarh Railway Station. Both are well connected to major cities across India.

From Shimla or Chandigarh, you can continue your journey by road to Spiti Valley.

By Road (Recommended):

The best and only operational winter route to Spiti is via Shimla – Narkanda – Sangla – Kinnaur – Spiti Valley.

The Manali route is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall at Kunzum Pass.

The entire journey from Shimla to Spiti is best undertaken with a 4x4 vehicle, especially during winter, to handle rugged and snowy roads safely.
