  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Darjeeling (98 km | ~3 hrs)

    Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet and greet by our representative. Later, enjoy a scenic drive to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.), the "Queen of the Hills". Check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure soaking in the cool mountain air. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

    Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

    Early morning drive to Tiger Hill (04:00 am) for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft.). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping and leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

    Day 03: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 kms / 2 hrs) Sightseeing

    After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). Check-in to hotel. Afternoon half-day tour of Kalimpong, visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills, and Flower Nurseries. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

    Day 04: Kalimpong – Gangtok (77 kms / 3 hrs) Local Sightseeing

    After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). Check-in to hotel. Afternoon half-day city tour including Ban Jhakri Falls, Cottage Industry & Handicraft Centre, Flower Show, Dro-Dul Chorten, and Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). Overnight stay in Gangtok.

    Day 05: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), 55 km from Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: In case of landslides or other reasons, alternate sightseeing will be provided.

    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.

By Train:

  1. Nearest Railway Station: New Jalpaiguri Junction (NJP), which is around 68 km from Darjeeling, 76 km from Kalimpong, and 124 km from Gangtok.
  2. Trains from major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and others connect to New Jalpaiguri.
  3. From NJP, you can take a taxi or private vehicle to reach your hotel.

By Road:

  1. By Taxi/Private Car: You can hire a taxi or take a private car from Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Junction to your destination (Darjeeling, Kalimpong, or Gangtok). Road travel is scenic and will take 3-4 hours, depending on the destination.
  2. By Bus: There are also state-run and private buses available from Siliguri (near NJP) to Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Gangtok. However, traveling by bus may take longer compared to a taxi.
