  • Itinerary

    Your winter expedition begins with your arrival in Shimla and a scenic 4x4 drive to Sarahan, passing through Narkanda and Rampur. Along the way, you'll enjoy breakfast en route and a warm lunch in Narkanda. In Sarahan, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple and take in stunning Himalayan views. In the evening, relax by a cozy bonfire and stay overnight at a comfortable lodge, ready for the adventures ahead.

    • Dinner

    After breakfast in Sarahan, enjoy a scenic 4x4 drive through valleys and past Karcham Dam to Sangla, covering about 80 km in 4–5 hours. Explore the Baspa River, Kamru Fort, and the village of Chitkul near the Indo-Tibetan border. Have lunch at a local eatery, then relax at your stay in Sangla or Chitkul. Dinner will be served at your accommodation, and you'll stay overnight in this beautiful mountain setting.

    Today, embark on a rugged 4x4 journey towards Tabo, covering approximately 235 km in 8–10 hours. Along the way, stop at the charming village of Nako, famous for its tranquil lake and ancient monasteries. Enjoy breakfast at your stay in Sangla or Chitkul, have lunch at a restaurant near Nako, and arrive at Tabo for dinner. Visit the historic Tabo Monastery, renowned for its stunning murals and frescoes. Stay overnight in Tabo to experience its serene spiritual atmosphere.

    • Breakfast & Dinner

    Today, enjoy a 4x4 drive to Kaza, covering 90–100 km in 5–6 hours. After breakfast at Tabo, stop en route at Pin Valley to explore its unique ecosystem and stunning scenery. Continue to Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff, offering spectacular views. Have lunch at a local eatery along the way, and arrive in Kaza for dinner. Stay overnight in Kaza to experience the hub of Spiti Valley.

    • Breakfast & Dinner

    Today, explore Kaza’s surrounding villages and monasteries (50–60 km, 4–5 hours). Visit Key Monastery, Kibber Village, Chicham Bridge, Langza, and the highest post office in Hikkim. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery and return to Kaza for dinner. Overnight stay in Kaza.

    • Breakfast & Dinner

    Morning: After breakfast in Kaza, start your drive to Kalpa, covering approximately 220 km in 7–8 hours. En route, enjoy lunch at a small eatery in Pooh or a nearby village. Experience stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range and visit Suicide Point for panoramic vistas. Arrive in Kalpa for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Vehicles will be driven by experienced drivers.

    Accommodation:

    Accommodation in hotels and homestays on a triple or quad-sharing basis for the entire expedition.

    Stay will be provided on a best-available basis.

    Meals:

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire duration of the expedition.

    Meals will be served at local restaurants and dhabas.

    Sightseeing:

    Sightseeing at all destinations mentioned in the itinerary.

    Entry fees and permits for all sightseeing destinations, arranged by the organizer.

    Support Staff:

    An experienced guide and driver will accompany the group throughout the expedition to provide assistance and support.

    A qualified doctor will be part of the team, offering medical assistance and emergency care if needed.

    Emergency Preparedness:

    A first-aid kit with basic medical supplies and equipment will be available in each vehicle.

    Oxygen cylinders for use in emergencies will be provided in the vehicles.

    Emergency assistance, including evacuation to a nearby hospital or medical facility, will be available if required.

    Recovery tools such as winches and tow ropes will be included for emergency situations.

    Permits and Taxes:

    Road taxes, tolls, and necessary permits for the expedition are included.

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

By Air :

The nearest airport is Jubbarhatti Airport (Shimla), about 23 km from Shimla city. Alternatively, travelers can fly into Chandigarh Airport, which has better connectivity and is around 120 km from Shimla. From either airport, private cabs or buses can be hired to reach Shimla, the starting point of the circuit.

By Train :

The nearest major railway station is Kalka Railway Station, about 90 km from Shimla. From Kalka, the scenic Kalka–Shimla toy train is a popular and memorable ride. Taxis and buses are also available from Kalka to Shimla.

By Road :

Shimla is well connected by road to major North Indian cities like Delhi (approx. 350 km) and Chandigarh (approx. 120 km). Regular Himachal Road Transport buses, private Volvo services, and taxis operate on these routes. From Shimla, the journey continues through the circuit covering Sarahan, Sangla, Nako, Tabo, Kaza, and Kalpa before looping back.
