    2. Transportation: In Tempo Traveler from Manali to Srinagar.
    3. Pick up and drop to a houseboat in Shikara in Srinagar.
    4. 1-Hour Shikara Ride on Sharing Basis.
    5. Himalayan BS6 Bike - For those opting for Himalayan Bikes as a mode of Transportation
    6. Bike Rent & Fuel from Sarchu to Srinagar.
    7. Riding Gears: Knee guard, Elbow guard, Helmet, Riding Glove, Riding Jacket - Level 2.
    8. Note: Due to comfort and safety reasons, we recommend you all carry your own Riding Gears for the ride. The Gears which we provide are of standard size so there can be some discrepancies regarding the sizes.
    9. Accommodations: On sharing basis as per the itinerary.

    3. Shikara rides for any purpose except for pick up and drop off. (Only 2 times)

    5. Additional accommodation/food costs incurred due to any delay in travel.
    6. Cost Of Any Spare Part Which Will Be Used Due To The Accidental Damage Incurred When The Motorbike Is In the Rider’s Possession.
    7. Cost Incurred To Transfer Or Tow The Motorbike In Case It Is Dropped On The Way.
    8. Vehicle Servicing Or Maintenance Cost
    9. Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in Package Inclusions.
    10. Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation from Manali or Srinagar.
    11. Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
    12. Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
    13. Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost and security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/-. As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts required. The refund would be credited after 7 business days)
    14. Any other services not specified above in inclusions.

    The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.

    Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.

    For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.

    Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.

    Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).

    AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.

    Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.

    Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.

    Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.

    In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.

    We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.

    In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    Booking Policy

    Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, including passport, visa, and travel insurance, are in order.

    No discount will be provided after confirmation.

    The company shall not be responsible for any delays or cancellations due to heavy traffic jams, blocked roads, technical faults, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseen events. Such situations may also require extra services at additional costs.

    Reservation Policy for Package Booking

    To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.

    The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    Reservation Policy for Flight/Train/Bus Booking1

    For flight, train, or bus bookings, a 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation.

    Process of Making Advance Payment

    EMI Options Are Also Available in Our Gateways

    Cash deposit option at Mountains Chain Travel offices.

    Cash deposit in any of our mentioned banks (SBI, UCO, and HDFC).

    Fixed Departure Dates: The tour will depart on the fixed dates mentioned in the itinerary. No changes or amendments will be allowed.

    Company's Rights: The company reserves the right to cancel or modify the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, political unrest, or other factors beyond our control.



    1. -If cancelled 30 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    2. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    3. -If cancelled between 0-14 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    4. No Refund Policy
    5. - No refund will be made for any unused services or features.
    6. - No refund will be made for any tour cancelled due to natural calamities, political unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.

1. By Air (Fastest Option) ✈️

If you're traveling from other parts of India, flying to the nearest airport is the quickest way to reach the starting point.

? Nearest Airports:

✅ Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) – Major international and domestic hub.

✅ Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) – Closer to Himachal, with frequent flights.

✅ Kangra Airport (DHM) – Closest airport to McLeod Ganj/Dharamshala (only for domestic flights).

✈ Recommended Route:

Fly to Delhi/Chandigarh, then continue by road or train to Himachal Pradesh.

From Chandigarh, you can take a bus, cab, or private vehicle to McLeod Ganj/Bir.

2. By Train (Budget-Friendly) ?

Though there is no direct train to McLeod Ganj/Bir, you can take a train to nearby railway stations and then continue by road.

✅ Chandigarh Railway Station (CDG) – Well-connected to major cities.

✅ Una Railway Station (UHL) – Another good option for reaching Himachal.

Take a train to Pathankot, then a cab/bus to McLeod Ganj (3-hour drive).

From Chandigarh, take a direct bus or taxi to McLeod Ganj.
