Organized by Mountains Chain Travel Pvt. Ltd., the Bhrigu Lake Trek is a moderately challenging Himalayan adventure starting from Manali. This trek takes you through lush meadows, dense oak forests, and scenic mountain trails to the stunning alpine Bhrigu Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,100 feet. The lake is named after the sage Bhrigu and offers breathtaking views of majestic peaks like Deo Tibba, Indraasan, Hanuman Tibba, and Friendship Peak. Spanning 3 days, the trek combines peaceful nature walks with exhilarating mountain landscapes, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers.   • Itinerary

    The group will gather at the designated pick-up point by 9:00 AM for a briefing session with the trek leader who will share all essential details about the trek After the briefing we will drive approximately 45 minutes to Kulang the base camp for the Bhrigu Lake Trek Following a short rest the trek begins towards Moridugh The trail initially passes through flat terrain before leading into lush green meadows and oak forests While the path is somewhat steep in sections it remains manageable with stunning natural surroundings throughout We will reach the campsite in about 4-5 hours just as dusk begins to settle Enjoy the evening at leisure taking in the breathtaking views Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay at the campsite in Moridugh

    After an early breakfast we will embark on the trek to the pristine Bhrigu Lake located at an altitude of 14 100 ft Named after the revered sage Rishi Bhrigu the lake is surrounded by majestic peaks including Deo Tibba Indraasan Hanuman Tibba and Friendship Peak The trail is dotted with expansive green meadows evoking the feeling of being in a serene paradise As we approach the lake the terrain becomes rocky culminating in spectacular views of the turquoise waters against a backdrop of towering Himalayan summits After spending time at leisure near the lake to soak in the natural beauty we will trek back to the Moridugh campsite Dinner and an overnight stay under the starry Himalayan sky complete the day

    Following breakfast we will break camp and begin our descent back to Kulang retracing the scenic trail and enjoying the surrounding natural beauty one last time The trek will take approximately 4-5 hours after which we will drive for 45 minutes back to Manali The trek concludes here with the group bidding farewell carrying fond memories of the adventure

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In regions like Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, North East, Andaman & Nicobar, Kerala, Goa, and Rajasthan, hotels are typically categorized based on location, services, and the type of experience they offer, rather than traditional star ratings. These areas often have unique accommodations, ranging from basic guesthouses to luxury resorts, shaped by their geographical and cultural characteristics. In places like Andaman & Nicobar, Rajasthan, and Kerala, the focus is on proximity to natural attractions, heritage experiences, and local amenities, with star classification being less common in remote or heritage properties.

    5. Reservation Policy for Package Booking
    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    9. For flight, train, or bus bookings, a 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation.

    2. -If cancelled 30 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    4. -If cancelled between 0-14 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be deducted.

By Air:

The nearest airport to Manali is Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar Airport), located about 50 kilometers from Manali. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Manali. The drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.


By Train:

The closest railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, approximately 150 kilometers away. From there, taxis and buses are available to reach Manali, which takes about 5 to 6 hours by road.


By Road:

Manali is well-connected by road to major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Shimla. Regular Volvo and deluxe buses operate from these cities to Manali. You can also hire a private taxi or self-drive. The journey from Delhi to Manali takes around 12 to 14 hours by road.


Local Transport:

On arrival in Manali, the trekking group will assemble at the campsite in Old Manali behind the Club House at 9:00 AM on Day 1 for the briefing and start of the trek.
