  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Kathgodam to Karmi - Road Journey

    Your journey begins with a pickup from Kathgodam Railway Station by a shared taxi (Max/Bolero). En route, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local dhaba in Takuli. By evening, you will arrive at the tranquil village of Karmi, where you will have dinner and stay overnight in a cozy guesthouse.

    Day 2: Karmi to Kharkiya (Road) & Kharkiya to Dwali Trek

    After breakfast, you’ll take a scenic 45-minute drive to Kharkiya, the starting point of your trek. From Kharkiya, you will embark on a 4 km trek to Khati/Dau where lunch will be served. Post lunch, continue trekking for 11 km towards Dwali. Upon reaching Dwali in the evening, you will settle into a guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Day 3: Dwali to Phurkiya Trek

    Following a wholesome breakfast, begin an 8 km trek from Dwali to Phurkiya. On arrival, enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful surroundings of Phurkiya. Later, relax with dinner and an overnight stay at the guesthouse.

    Day 4: Phurkiya to Zero Point & Return

    After breakfast, carry a packed lunch and set out on a 5 km trek to Zero Point, where you will witness the breathtaking Pindari Glacier. Spend time exploring the glacier and taking in the spectacular views before trekking 5 km back to Phurkiya in the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the guesthouse.

    Day 5: Phurkiya to Khati/Dau

    After an early breakfast and with a packed lunch, begin the long descent of 19 km back to Khati/Dau. You’ll arrive by evening, where groups of six or more can enjoy a bonfire. Dinner and an overnight stay will be arranged at the guesthouse.

    Day 6: Khati/Dau to Kharkiya & Return to Kathgodam

    After breakfast, trek 4 km back to Kharkiya. From Kharkiya, you will take a shared taxi to Bharari, where direct transport to Haldwani or Kathgodam is available, marking the end of your trek.

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    2. Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, including passport, visa, and travel insurance, are in order.

    4. The company shall not be responsible for any delays or cancellations due to heavy traffic jams, blocked roads, technical faults, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseen events. Such situations may also require extra services at additional costs.
    5. Reservation Policy for Package Booking
    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    9. For flight, train, or bus bookings, a 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation.

    15. Fixed Departure Dates: The tour will depart on the fixed dates mentioned in the itinerary. No changes or amendments will be allowed.
    16. Company's Rights: The company reserves the right to cancel or modify the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, political unrest, or other factors beyond our control.

    2. -If cancelled 30 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    4. -If cancelled between 0-14 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be deducted.

How To Reach

By Train:

  1. From Delhi: The most convenient train route is from New Delhi Railway Station to Kathgodam Railway Station. The Ranikhet Express and Kathgodam Shatabdi are popular options, taking approximately 6-7 hours.
  2. From Haldwani: Kathgodam is around 7 km away from Haldwani Railway Station and is easily accessible by taxi or bus.

By Bus:

  1. From Delhi: Buses to Kathgodam are available from ISBT (Kashmiri Gate) in Delhi. The journey takes around 9-10 hours.
  2. From Haldwani: Local buses or shared taxis are easily available to Kathgodam.

By Road:

  1. From Delhi: You can hire a private cab or use shared taxis to Kathgodam, which takes around 7-8 hours depending on traffic conditions.
  2. From Haldwani: Kathgodam is about 30 minutes by car or taxi from Haldwani.
