After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to Chitkul and set out for Nako—a peaceful hamlet nestled in the Kinnaur district at over 12,000 feet. Drive through dramatic mountain landscapes, passing through Karcham, Powari, and the bustling Reckong Peo, where you can pause for snacks and shopping. Reach Nako by afternoon and take a tranquil walk around the shimmering Nako Lake, embraced by stark yet stunning mountains. Visit the historic Nako Monastery and unwind in the quietude of this picturesque village. Overnight stay in Nako.

    • Breakfast & Dinner

Fuel up with breakfast and venture deeper into the mystical Spiti Valley. Your first stop is Tabo Monastery, a thousand-year-old sanctuary known as the "Ajanta of the Himalayas." Next, visit Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched atop a cliff offering panoramic views of the Spiti confluence. Continue your journey into the Pin Valley National Park and take a detour to Mud Village, a remote gem framed by rugged terrain and vibrant wildflowers. Arrive in Kaza by evening and check in for a restful night.

    • Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, gear up for a day exploring the world’s highest inhabited villages. Start with Komik, the highest motorable village on Earth, then head to Hikkim to post a letter from the world's highest post office. In Langza, admire the iconic Buddha statue watching over the village and try your hand at fossil hunting. End your sightseeing at Key Monastery, the spiritual heart of Spiti, perched majestically above the Spiti River. Return to Kaza for the night.
