The Triund Trek organized by Mountains Chain Travel Pvt.   • Itinerary

    Day 1: Triund Trek from Mcleodganj

    After a hearty breakfast around 9 AM, we begin our trek towards Triund Hill from Mcleodganj. The journey starts at Mcleodganj main chowk. The trek is relatively easy with some steeper sections and covers a total distance of 9 km. As you trek through dense pine forests, enjoy scenic views of the valleys below. The entire climb takes about 5 to 6 hours to reach the top of Triund. Upon reaching Triund, take in the breathtaking views of the Kangra Valley, and relax at the campsite. Enjoy a warm dinner under the stars before settling in for the night in the comfortable camp setup.

    Day 2: Descend Back to Mcleodganj

    Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Dhauladhar Range. After breakfast, take some time to enjoy the serenity of Triund Hill and capture some memories through photographs. Later, begin the descent back to Mcleodganj via the same route. The downhill trek takes around 4 to 5 hours, and you will arrive back in Mcleodganj by 4 PM. Afterward, relax before departing for Delhi around 6 or 7 PM.

    1. Travel to Mcleodganj: Any transportation to and from Mcleodganj is not included (you will need to arrange your own travel to and from the starting point).
    2. Lunch: Lunch is not included on both days of the trek.
    3. Personal Expenses: Any personal items like toiletries, snacks, or drinks are not covered.
    4. Travel Insurance: Trekking insurance or other forms of travel insurance are not included.
    5. Additional Costs: Extra charges for any additional activities, such as horse riding or any unforeseen costs.

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.

These areas often have unique accommodations, ranging from basic guesthouses to luxury resorts, shaped by their geographical and cultural characteristics. In places like Andaman & Nicobar, Rajasthan, and Kerala, the focus is on proximity to natural attractions, heritage experiences, and local amenities, with star classification being less common in remote or heritage properties.

    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

How To Reach

1. By Train - Bus:
