The trip begins with local sightseeing in McLeod Ganj, known for its monasteries, Tibetan market, and vibrant cafés. From there, you'll trek 9 kilometers to the majestic Triund Top (9,432 ft), which rewards you with sweeping views of the Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra Valley. A starlit night at a scenic Naddi campsite adds a magical touch to the experience. Next, travel to Bir Billing, the paragliding capital of India. Here, you’ll experience the ultimate thrill of flying over the Himalayas with certified pilots, followed by relaxed exploration, café hopping, and souvenir shopping.   • Itinerary

    Day 1: Delhi to McLeod Ganj-Overnight Journey

    The group will gather at the designated pickup point at 7:00 PM for introductions and a brief tour overview. Following this, we’ll embark on an overnight journey to McLeod Ganj, a charming town in Himachal Pradesh renowned for its Tibetan culture.

    Day 2: Arrival in McLeod Ganj | Local Sightseeing

    Upon arrival in McLeod Ganj, we’ll check into the hotel and enjoy some leisure time. Afterward, we’ll set out for local sightseeing, visiting the Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsunag Waterfall, and the vibrant Tibetan Market. We'll also indulge in cafe hopping to taste authentic Tibetan delicacies. Dinner will follow, and we’ll stay overnight in McLeod Ganj.

    Day 3: Trek to Triund - 9 km 5 Hours

    After an early breakfast we’ll begin our trek to Triund Hill located at the base of the Dhauladhar Ranges. At an altitude of 9432 ft Triund offers breathtaking views of the Kangra Valley. The trail passes through pine forests and expansive meadows. We’ll camp at a lower altitude due to heavy snowfall at the Triund top. Dinner will be served under the starry sky with the mighty Dhauladhars as our backdrop. Overnight stay at Naddi campsite

    Day 4: Drive from McLeod Ganj to Bir - 72 km 3 Hours

    After breakfast we’ll check out from our campsite and descend back to McLeod Ganj. From there we’ll drive to Bir located at 5003 ft known as India’s Paragliding Capital. We’ll pass through Dharamshala the residence of the Dalai Lama and visit the Dharamshala Stadium. Upon reaching Bir we’ll check into our hotel. In the evening we’ll head to Billing the paragliding take-off point. After an exhilarating paragliding session we’ll return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bir

    Day 5: Bir Sightseeing - Departure to Delhi

    After breakfast we’ll check out and explore Bir. The day will be spent cafe hopping tasting local cuisines and shopping for souvenirs. In the evening we’ll board an overnight bus to Delhi

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.

In regions like Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, North East, Andaman & Nicobar, Kerala, Goa, and Rajasthan, hotels are typically categorized based on location, services, and the type of experience they offer, rather than traditional star ratings. These areas often have unique accommodations, ranging from basic guesthouses to luxury resorts, shaped by their geographical and cultural characteristics. In places like Andaman & Nicobar, Rajasthan, and Kerala, the focus is on proximity to natural attractions, heritage experiences, and local amenities, with star classification being less common in remote or heritage properties.

    6. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    2. -If cancelled 30 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.

By Air:

  1. Nearest Airport: Kangra Airport (DHM)
  2. The nearest airport to McLeod Ganj is Kangra Airport located in Gaggal, around 18 kilometers away from McLeod Ganj. There are daily flights from Delhi to Kangra, and from there, you can take a taxi or local transport to McLeod Ganj.
  3. Alternative Airport: Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), Delhi
  4. If you're arriving from other locations, you can fly into Delhi Airport (DEL), which is well-connected by flights to all major cities in India. From Delhi, you can take a flight to Kangra or travel by train or bus.

By Train:

  1. The nearest major railway station is Pathankot Junction (around 90 kilometers from McLeod Ganj).
  2. From Pathankot, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to McLeod Ganj. Trains from major cities like Delhi, Amritsar, and Chandigarh run to Pathankot.
  3. Another option is to travel to Dharamshala Railway Station (though fewer direct connections are available) and take a local taxi to McLeod Ganj.

By Bus:

  1. McLeod Ganj is well connected to Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar via Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses.
  2. Buses from Delhi to McLeod Ganj take around 12-14 hours.
  3. You can also opt for private buses or Volvo services which offer comfort on longer journeys.

By Car:

  1. If you prefer a road trip, you can drive directly from Delhi to McLeod Ganj. The distance is about 480 km and takes around 10-12 hours depending on road conditions.
