The name "Spiti" means "middle land" in Tibetan, and it is indeed a land that lies between India and Tibet. A Spiti Valley tour is a journey to a land of stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and spiritual significance.
Upon your arrival at the Airport or Railway Station, our tour guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Shimla. En route, indulge in sightseeing at Parwanoo Timber Trail, Solan, and Kandaghat. After a day of exploration, relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Shimla.
After breakfast, depart from Shimla to Kotgarh via NH205, stopping at Theog and Matiana. Continue to Sangla Valley, known for its orchards and stunning views. Visit Sangla Fort and then drive to Chitkul, enjoying scenic views and photo opportunities. Walk along the Bapsa River and visit the Mathi Goddess temple. Overnight stay at a homestay or campsite in Sangla.
Start your day with stunning morning views of Kalpa. After breakfast, drive to Tabo and visit the region’s oldest monastery to learn about its history. Proceed to explore the charming Pooh and Nako villages, experiencing authentic village life. En route, stop at Gue Village to see the 500-year-old mummy of a monk. Overnight at your hotel in Tabo, with an optional early visit to the monastery if time permits.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and revisit Tabo Monastery if needed. Drive to Kaza (about 4 hours), stopping at Dhankar Valley and Monastery along the way. Continue to Pin Valley, then check in at your hotel in Kye. In the evening, explore Key Monastery.
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour in Kaza by visiting the famous Key Monastery. On the way, stop at Komik Village and Hikkim, home to the highest post office in India. Continue to Langza, located at 4,420 meters elevation, renowned for its breathtaking views. Next, visit the Chicham Bridge, connecting Chicham Village and Kibber Village. Return to your hotel in Kaza and relax for the night. Enjoy your overnight stay in Kaza.
After breakfast, leave Kaza early and drive towards Recong Peo. En route, stop at the Kinner Kailash range for a scenic view. Continue your journey to Kalpa, a charming town famous for its apple orchards and spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range. Visit the Kalpa Monastery and explore the traditional Kinnauri culture. Check-in at a hotel or guesthouse in Kalpa for an overnight stay.
After enjoying breakfast, check out from your hotel and commence your drive to Narkanda. En route, visit the Bhima Kali Temple in Sarahan, a prominent pilgrimage site of great spiritual significance. Continue your journey towards Narkanda, and if you arrive early, take the opportunity to visit Hatu Peak for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Upon reaching Narkanda, check in at your hotel or guesthouse for an overnight stay.
