The group will assemble at the designated pick-up point on Manali Mall Road by 11:00 AM A detailed briefing session by the trek leader will prepare you for the adventure ahead We will then drive for 45 minutes to Jobra the base camp of the Hampta Pass trek situated at an altitude of 9379 feet The drive offers panoramic views of the Kullu Valley winding through numerous hairpin bends From Jobra we begin our gentle 2 km trek to Chika passing through thick forests of pine maple and silver birch The trail follows the serene Rani Nallah stream and meadows surrounded by oak and deodar trees providing breathtaking scenery We will set up camp at Chika amidst vast greenery and open skies perfect for a peaceful evening Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay at the campsite
After an early breakfast we set off for Balu Ka Ghera The trail begins with a pleasant meadow walk that soon transitions into a moderate trek over boulders and loose rocks On this stretch you will be accompanied by the flowing Jwara River and spectacular views of the Dhauladhar ranges A waterfall stream awaits amidst the lush greenery adding to the natural beauty As the terrain flattens at Chota Balu Ka Ghera the path becomes rugged again requiring careful navigation We reach Balu Ka Ghera our campsite for the night nestled among majestic mountains Dinner will be served under a starry sky
Following breakfast we trek towards Sia Goru crossing the iconic Hampta Pass The trail mainly consists of boulders and steep descents requiring caution The pass is adorned with blooming flowers a flowing river and occasional rainbows with the Deo Tibba peak majestically visible nearby After soaking in the stunning views at the pass we begin our descent along a slippery twisting trail leading to the valley below Finally we reach Sia Goru where we set up camp and enjoy a relaxing evening Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite
Post-breakfast we embark on a downhill trek to Chatru The terrain here is vast and barren with tricky slopes that offer an adrenaline rush and require vigilance On arrival at Chatru we drive to the stunning Chandratal Lake weather permitting located about 45 km away You will have time to enjoy the pristine beauty and take a short sightseeing tour We then return to Chatru to set up camp for the night Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay
After morning tea and breakfast we begin our return journey to Manali The drive is filled with mesmerizing views of majestic mountains and the flowing Chandra River We will also pass through the iconic Atal Tunnel adding to the experience Upon reaching Manali the group will disperse cherishing the memories made on this unforgettable trek End of Tour
