The journey begins in the evening as the group gathers at Akshardham Metro Station by 8:00 PM. After a warm introduction and briefing by the trip leaders, we set off for the scenic village of Barot in Himachal Pradesh. The overnight drive gives travelers a chance to relax and connect with fellow adventurers.
By morning we reach Barot, a hidden gem tucked away in the mountains around 500 km from Delhi. On arrival, enjoy refreshing tea before checking into your rooms. After some rest, we head out for a leisurely stroll to the Uhl River, spending the afternoon immersed in nature’s calm. As evening falls and the temperatures dip, we return to the hotel for a cozy bonfire with vegetarian snacks. The day wraps up with a fun session of group games like dumb charades or Lotto, followed by a delicious dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.
After breakfast we leave Barot and make our way to Jibhi located within the Great Himalayan National Park. Upon reaching we check into our stay and relax for a while. The afternoon is free to unwind or take a short walk to the nearby riverside soaking in Jibhi’s tranquil atmosphere. As the sun sets a comforting bonfire with tea and snacks awaits offering the perfect way to relax. Dinner is served at the property followed by an overnight stay in Jibhi.
After a hearty breakfast we drive up to Jalori Pass at an altitude of 3120 meters and begin our trek to Sirolsar Lake. This moderate trek leads us through enchanting forest trails blanketed in snow with occasional views of vast alpine meadows peeking through the trees. The round trek typically takes 5 to 6 hours depending on the day’s weather. On the return journey time permitting we will stop by the Jibhi Waterfall a picturesque spot perfect for a quick visit. In the evening we return to our stay in Jibhi for a lively bonfire and music night filled with celebration good food and memorable moments with the group.
No one ever wants to leave the mountains so we begin this final day at a relaxed pace. After a leisurely breakfast take time to soak in the peaceful vibes of Tirthan Valley one last time. We then begin our return journey to Delhi carrying with us beautiful memories and new friendships. We are expected to reach Delhi early the next morning marking the end of a truly rejuvenating Himalayan escape.

By Road:
The tour begins with a pickup from Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi at 8 PM. From Delhi, the group travels overnight by comfortable tempo traveller or Volvo depending on the group size. The drive to Barot covers approximately 500 kilometers and takes around 10 to 12 hours via NH 44 and NH 205, passing through important towns like Karnal, Ambala, and Mandi.
By Air:
The nearest airport to Barot and Jibhi is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu-Manali Airport), approximately 70 kilometers from Barot. Travelers flying in can take a taxi from Bhuntar airport to join the group or reach Barot/Jibhi directly.
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, about 65 kilometers from Barot. From there, taxis or local buses can be hired to reach Barot or Jibhi.
Local Transfers:
From Barot onwards, all local transfers to Jibhi, Jalori Pass, and other places mentioned in the itinerary will be arranged by Mountains Chain Travel Pvt Ltd.
